What is that ingredient ?
Are you a label reader ?

A typical cosmetic label can be broken into 3 parts. The first third of a cosmetic label usually makes up 90-95% of the products ingredients. The second third makes up 5-8% and the last third 1-3%.
The thing with ingredients is, they matter !
Do you pay good money to purchase something that is majority Water - potenitially not even filtered (maybe contaminated with chlorine & fluroide) ? and majority Chemical ?
Even the smaller portions in the 1-3% are harmful chemicals. Just because it is at the bottom of the ingredients list, doesn't mean that its not as potent - maybe that is the exact point. If they put the lesser ingredients in higher quantities it might be hitting a danger zone where people would be effected immediately ?
My whole journey in working with Miessence has been on education, educating myself & others.
This is one of the first things that is one of the main things to learn when purchasing anything. Turn the product around & choose whether it is Worthy of purchasing.
If you need assistance with looking at what is good & what isn't try googling & looking up a MSDS, Material Safety Data Sheet & look at its potential hazards. Also there are some good books like the Chemical Maze which are highly helpful - you can now download a version on your iphone ! So you can act immediately.
I have read testimonals of women that have lead healthy lifestyles yet forget about their skincare routine, they exercise routinely & eat well, but forget that their skincare could be highly toxic and have openly said that this is the reason behind the illness they have had.
I hope this inspires you to check all your labels, either skincare or food. Be empowered to know what you are purchasing & that what you are purchasing is Worthy of your hard earned Cash !
Enjoy your pure, toxic free Miessence range.
If you have a testimonial we would love to hear it.
Best wishes, Rebecca

The good, the bad, and the ugly

Most people in the Western world are obsessed with their hair. Westerns redefine themselves by defining and redefining their hair. Hair dye and dressing is not new. The Romans, Ancient Egyptians and Greeks were asll involved in elaborate forms of hairdressing and dying. The Romans were fascinated with hair dyes and history has uncovered approximately 100 recipes that Romans used to colour their hair. The ingredients used in these recipes included leeks, charred eggs, goats fat, ashes, and walnut shells. Most of the very early hair dyes such as henna, indigo, sage and camomile, could only darken the hair.
